Diana’s first novel, She’s All Yours, is a story about a young girl who finds love away from home and what can happen when fate and bad timing are not on your side. It was inspired while Diana, her husband and young daughter were on vacation in Mexico in 2003. The book, which has never been edited is currently unpublished. Diana’s son, impressed by his mother’s knack for telling a story, got his hands on the manuscript and had it printed in book form as a keepsake for her for Christmas a few years ago.
Touched by his thoughtfulness and loving the way her words looked in print, Diana decided that if she ever wrote another book (and there were always several floating around in her head) that she’d publish it just to see what others thought.
Since then, Diana has kept her promise to herself, written and published her second novel, The Daffodils Soon Will Be Up, is more than halfway through her third, He’s Out There Somewhere and barely controls the characters screaming at her from her fourth, Insidious Silence.
Even with all that, Diana still feels she owes She’s All Yours a chance to shine. So who knows? With a little bit of editing, maybe Diana will finally share her first novel with the world!
